Corporate Security Specialist

The Corporate Security Specialist plays an important role at P C Richard & Son in protecting the organization’s personnel, assets and making sure that security procedures are being followed. The position focuses on identifying and mitigating security risks and conducting investigations. The ideal candidate will have a law enforcement background, excellent communication skills, situational awareness and the ability to respond effectively to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate surveillance equipment
- Investigate security incidents and support incident response efforts
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Investigate security breaches, thefts and other incidents; prepare detailed reports
- Maintain logs and records of daily activities and incidents
- Collaborate with HR and legal department on security related matters
- Liaison with different law enforcement departments and process requests for assistance
- Stay current with security trends, threats, and best practices
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, related field or comparable work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in law enforcement and/or military service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in pressure situations.
Requirements:
- Requires travel to various P.C. Richard & Son showrooms or facilities
- May involve working sometimes outside regular business hours
- May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts
- On-call availability in case of emergency response
Salary Range: $64,350 to $75,000
